High performance thin layer chromatography analysis of seed extracts of Tudri Surkh (Cheiranthus cheiri)

Background: To develop the high-performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) finger print profile of hydroalcoholic and ethylalcohol extracts seeds Tudri Surkh (Cheiranthus cheiri). Methods: Chromatographic technique was used for separation components from HPTLC carried out using CAMAG system equipped with Linomat V applicator, WinCATS software.Results: profiling extract confirm presence various phytochemicals. At 640 nm revealed 16 Rf=0.05-0.94 while 19 peaks Rf=0.07 to 0.96. Well separated compact greenish, yellow pink bands were visualized anisaldehyde sulphuric acid reagent.Conclusions: We conclude that fingerprint seed cheiri) revels compounds can be utilized as a marker standardization proper identification plant material preparation traditional drugs.
